Terms of Service

1. Beta software notice

Hatching Monitor is currently in active beta testing. By creating an account, you acknowledge and accept that:

• Data may be lost at any time. The service is under development; database resets, migrations, or accidental deletions may occur without notice.
• Features may change or disappear. Anything you see today may be modified or removed in future updates.
• Service may be unavailable. The application may be taken offline for maintenance, debugging, or any other reason at any time, without prior notice or compensation.
• No service level agreement exists. There are no uptime guarantees, no performance commitments, and no support obligations.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backup records of critical incubation data. Do not rely on this service as your sole record-keeping system.

2. No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of incubation parameters, or non-infringement. The species incubation parameters provided are commonly-cited reference values gathered from publicly available sources; they may be incomplete or inaccurate for your specific situation. Always consult species-specific care guides for the species you are hatching.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of this service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, eggs, hatched chicks, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

4. Account and data

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information at registration and to keep it up to date. Your data is isolated from other users via row-level security; only you and authorized administrators of this beta can access your records. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting the operator.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other users' accounts, or the underlying infrastructure; (b) submit content that is illegal, harassing, fraudulent, or infringes on others' rights; (c) overload the service through automated scripts or excessive requests; (d) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code or proprietary data.

6. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time during the beta. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the registered email address where possible.
